Meet Lawrence Bishop
Lawrence Bishop, and his wife of 40 years, Darlene, are very busy people. In addition to running the LB Ranch, a large horse breeding and exporting operation, they also are full time pastors of The Solid Rock Church. The church is located in Monroe, OH, and has 3100 active members and is still growing. The Bishops have welcomed customers and visitors as guests from most parts of the world.
Lawrence has been and continues to be involved in many ventures, including; livestock auctioneer, trainer, rancher, rodeo contestant, horse exporter, pastor, missionary to foreign countries, song writer and recording artist. He just finished his second Gospel Bluegrass CD, "White Horse Rider." Lawrence just released two new CDs, "Cowboy Up" and "Old fashion but not out of Style". "Could I get a witness", "Mother's Last Words", "Old Fashion", and "Three Dollar Baby"(charting for 18 months), are his four number one songs ranked in PowerSource Magazine.
The LB Ranch maintains a variety of horses, as well as a few buffalo, to keep the horses trained and fresh. Often you may even see some Longhorns, Brahmas, Zebras, Camels or some other exotic animals in the pasture. The ranch keeps some cutting, reining, and paint stallions, to stand and sell.
People who want to upgrade or downgrade their horses bring their horses to trade from far and near, since Lawrence says, "He'll give boot, take boot, or trade even." The LB Ranch welcomes visitors. |
